“We are very happy with the outcome Mike has achieved working on a part time basis as Accountant for our organisation. We now have a weekly cash flow projection updated on a regular basis. MYOB has been restructured to enable monthly management accounts to be prepared for each office and each service that we provide. After a 12 months period of processing information the same way, the actual results for the current year were able to be compared to the previous year, which really helped us more easily track progress of the business.
With Mike’s assistance, a detailed budget was also developed for the organisation. This enabled us to understand our costs better and see the impact of spending decisions on future profit. This was particularly useful in relation to advertising and sponsorship initiatives. He also helped identify a number of cost savings. Mike spends time at the end of each month with the business managers going over the figures, which also helps with their development.

“We are a small rapidly growing financial services business and were using a franchise bookkeeping facility, receiving very poor service. Karl and Mike did an excellent job getting our books up to date and properly reconciled for the first time. We were able to get up to date with our GST and PAYG reporting requirements and minimise any potential problems.
Karl now provides monthly management accounts within a few days at the end of the month, and we know exactly how much profit has been made and what dividend can be distributed to the shareholders.
